Artist's Description
Double rainbow at sunset. When I saw this rainbow I was astonished at how close the two ends of the rainbow were. So I needed to find a tree to give the scene some scale. When I arrived, my shadow was being cast on the trunk of the tree. To keep my shadow off the tree I knelt down in a puddle of water, and with a heavy mist coming down I prayed my expensive Noblex film 120 panorama camera would not get ruined. And a 1/8 th of a second exposure was another challenge. But bingo, I nailed it!! Photography by Don Schimmel. www.donschimmelphotography.com
